Widely regarded as one of the top five best wedding photographers in the world, Jerry Ghionis is based in Beverly Hills, California and Melbourne, Australia and travels frequently on international photography assignments and speaking engagements. With the flair of a fashion designer and the ingenuity of an architect, his style can best be described as vintage-glamour meets contemporary fashion. His love and empathy for people shows in his visual storytelling, and he has the talent of making everyone look and feel beautiful in front of his camera. Jerry’s list of accolades is outstanding and difficult to summarize.
A Nikon USA Ambassador, Grand Master of WPPI, named 3-times Wedding Photographer of the Year by AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography) and 2011 Australian Wedding Photographer of the Year, Jerry also has achieved the PPA Diamond Level Photographer of the Year Award four separate times and is Master Photographer and Craftsman.
Jerry created the Ice Society, a continuous lighting training site and most recently, he launched an educational photography app, PickPockets, collaborated with Wescott on the Omega Reflector, and even published two books, all while continuing to raise the benchmark of excellence as an artist who is admired and respected by his peers and loved by his clients. He and wife, Melissa, founded a non-profit called the Soul Society which cares for poor, homeless and orphaned children in third world countries.
