There are over 80 classes to choose from (PLUS pre-cons!), ample networking opportunities, and of course a MASSIVE trade show for you to explore.

Imaging USA 2022 brings you everything you’ve come to love about the largest gathering of photographers in one place, but if you need even more reasons to attend, keep scrolling to see what will be brand new in National Harbor.

Hands-On Pre-Con Classes

A brand-new learning experience! These unique pre-cons give you personalized instruction, tips for curating your portfolio, and the chance to try new equipment. Each session is led by a Sony Artisan of Imagery and features:

  • 30 minutes of instruction followed by hands-on camerawork in 2 dedicated shooting bays
  • Professionally styled, camera-ready models
  • Individual guidance from an expert instructor
  • Equipment from the industry’s most trusted brands
  • Exclusive discounts on gear

Don’t wait to put your knowledge into practice. Try out new skills firsthand, right at the conference. Space is limited! Only 50 attendees per class. These WILL sell out! Learn more about these special sessions. Learn more about hands-on pre-con classes here

Networking Avenue

During Imaging USA 2021's virtual conference, we learned just how important it is to provide attendees with the space and time to network at the show. As a result, we’ve created a new event at Imaging USA where attendees gather to meet one another, talk about photography and/or specific topics, learn from one-another, hopefully exchange information, and even shoot a few cool photos!

The event will feature 3 shooting bays, each with a unique theme, so you can walk away with some fun photos to post on social media and plenty of memories from the show. There will be individual areas dedicated to specific specialties to make it easy for you to connect with like-minded photographers. Oh, and get this: a cash bar will also be available.

In addition to these three new events, Imaging USA 2022 will also be the first time the conference takes place in the Washington D.C. area. With monuments, museums, and a vibrant restaurant scene, there’s no shortage of things to do outside the convention center itself. Grab your camera and get inspired by the stunning neo-classical architecture of some of the world’s most recognizable buildings! Find ideas for things to do in Washington D.C.
