Many photographers begin their career using only natural light. The ease and beauty of available light makes it a simple choice for many photographers. Many natural light photographers would like to take the journey into strobes, but many reasons often hold them back. Audrey Woulard began her 16 year career as a natural light photographer. She mastered the art of finding and manipulating available light at any time of day; the only equipment she used was her camera. She became known in the industry for her natural light portraits of kids and teens and her images often left a viewer questioning the lighting used. As time grew, she moved into the art of created light by introducing strobes to her work.
She understands first-hand what that journey is like and will demonstrate exactly the steps she took to mimic her dramatic natural light portraits with flash.
