When and where will Imaging USA 2021 take place?
Imaging USA 2021 will be available to stream and watch on-demand January 17-19, 2021, in the eastern time zone. Pre-con classes will take place in the days leading up to the main event. Attendees can replay pre-con classes and platform sessions through January 31, 2021.

What is included in my All-Access Pass?
Everything during the 3 days of Imaging USA is available to you! That includes all classes, entertainment, keynote speeches, and the award ceremonies PLUS the Imaging USA Expo. You can even replay classes through January 31, 2021. Pre-con classes are available for an extra fee.

What do I need to attend the event?
You’ll need a Mac or PC laptop/desktop computer with a compatible internet browser and a reliable internet connection. Up-to-date versions of Internet Explorer, Edge Chromium, Firefox, Safari, and Google Chrome are needed to attend the virtual event. 

Will the virtual event have closed captioning?
Yes, closed captioning will be available in English.

Will the event be available to watch anytime after January 17-19, 2021?
Yes, the main event will be available on-demand until January 31, 2021. 

What do I do if there’s more than one class I want to see happening at the same time?
Thanks to this year’s digital platform, all main platform sessions will be available on-demand.  You will also be able to replay them through January 31, 2021.

Are there still pre-con classes?
Yes, pre-con classes will take place January 14-16, 2021. Pre-con classes are $49/class and can be replayed through January 31, 2021. Pre-con classes will take place on Zoom, and links will be sent to registrants a few days before each class.

Is there a CPP prep class?
Yes, a 3-day CPP prep class will take place January 12-14, 2021. The cost of the class ($219) includes the exam fee. Note: the CPP prep class is not available for replay.

When will the Imaging USA Expo take place?
The Expo will be open January 17-19, 2021, 24 hours a day, with the ability to chat live with vendors from 12:30 - 2:30pm EST each day. Attendees will also have the option to visit exhibitor booths through January 31, 2021.


Will there be an IPC Exhibit?

Yes, there will be an IPC Exhibit in the Expo area of the platform.  There, you can view 2020 IPC Merit and Loan images. There will also be a series of TED Talk-style videos for the Merit Cafe as well as live critiques.  Stay tuned for more information.

What day will the Award & Degree Ceremony take place?
The Award & Degree Ceremony will take place Sunday, January 17 from 6:30pm - 7:30pm EST. PPA Award and degree recipients, degree sponsors, the Imaging Excellence Bar, and winner of the Imaging Excellence Award will be recognized during the ceremony.

Participants in the 2021 virtual ceremony will have the option of participating in the 2022 ceremony as well.

When will degree candidates and Imaging Excellence/Bar recipients be notified?
We will contact the recipients the week of November 2, 2020, with more details.

Can my family and friends watch the ceremony?
Yes! PPA will provide live broadcasts of both ceremonies on our YouTube channel. Please stay tuned for more information.

What day will the Grand Imaging Award Ceremony take place?
The Grand Imaging Awards will take place on Monday, January 18 at 5:30pm EST. 

What networking opportunities will there be?
Attendees will be able to chat one-on-one within the event platform. You will also be able to participate in group chats during classes, at exhibitors’ booths, and in networking lounges.

Will there be entertainment?
Yes! There will be an "Imaging USA House Party" with entertainment on Sunday, January 17, 2021, starting at 5:15pm. Stay tuned for more details about this night of laughter and fun.

Is there a KickStart Scholarship for Imaging USA 2021?
No, there will not be a KickStart Scholarship available for 2021.

Do PPA members earn education merits for attending Imaging USA 2021?
Yes, attending Imaging USA earns you 1 merit. Pre-con attendees will receive 1 merit per day. Please refer to the Merit Chart for more information.

Will new members still be able to attend Imaging USA 2021 for free?

Yes. Plus, you will also be eligible to attend Imaging USA 2022 in National Harbor, Maryland, for free!

How can I stay connected before/during/after the conference?

Can I cancel my registration and request a refund?

Do I need to cancel my hotel reservation with Gaylord Texan?
Gaylord Gaylord Texan has canceled all reservations booked through the Imaging USA website link. If you booked a hotel other than the Gaylord Texan, you will need to contact the hotel directly to cancel your reservation.

When and where is Imaging USA after 2021?

Imaging USA 2022 will be held at the Gaylord National Harbor in National Harbor, MD.

Imaging USA 2023 will be held at the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, TN.

Imaging USA 2024 will be held at the Kentucky International Convention Ctr in Louisville, KY.

Imaging USA 2025 will be held at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, TX.
