Imaging USA Code of Conduct
Imaging USA is committed to providing a safe and welcoming experience for all participants, regardless of race, ethnicity, disability, religion, political affiliation, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, and any other distinguishing characteristic. Discrimination, intolerance, harassment, aggression, or ill will of any kind will not be tolerated at Imaging USA, either in person or via electronic media.
Event participants, presenters, sponsors, exhibitors, employees & staff are expected to:
- Wear your event badge at all times
- Remain positive, friendly, and welcoming to others at all times
- Recognize that this event is a place for education, professional development, networking and fun, where diversity of thought, organization, and individuals require respect and inclusivity for and from all
- Be alert and report any discriminatory, harassing, aggressive, or exclusionary behavior or speech to event staff immediately
Unacceptable Behavior includes, but is not limited to: intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning conduct; inappropriate physical contact (e.g., unwelcome sexual advances, groping, and sexual assault); physical, written, verbal, or other abuse, as determined by the event organizer and its representatives, in their sole discretion.
Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated and anyone engaged in unacceptable behavior is subject to expulsion from the event, in Imaging USA’s sole discretion, without refund.
Reporting Unacceptable Behavior
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being treated poorly, or have additional concerns, contact any member of staff. Team members can be found at the information desks or by approaching anyone wearing a STAFF ribbon on their Imaging USA badge and/or an orange-button-up, Imaging USA shirt.
All attendees are expected to follow this Code of Conduct during Imaging USA (onsite and at Imaging USA affiliated and offsite events). The policy may be revised at any time without notice. In the event of an emergency, immediately contact the local authorities by dialing 9-1-1.
